Cherry Blossom at Sinchon
The next day, we went to Sinchon (신촌) again for lunch and at this point, the cherry blossoms were starting to bloom in different spots in Seoul, including Sinchon. Bald trees were no longer manning the main street but instead, clusters of soft pink petals could be seen from one end of the street to the other.
The weather was nice. The sun shone pretty bright and the temperature was about 19° C, a perfect spring weather. It was the weekend so the area was pretty crowded with people who were spending their day out and about. Also, Sinchon is a car free zone on weekends during the day so you can admire the cherry blossoms while standing in the middle of the road without having to worry about cars coming at you.
To be continued in part two.
